From 1994's "Street Fighter", the only saving grace of that poor video game film was Raul Julia. He camped it up to eleven by playing M. Bison and knew that it would be his last film role before he died after making that movie, which is the reason why he made it watchable.
Heading back to "Catwoman", Sharon Stone was probably the best part of the whole film because she made a good villainess just like she had showed in "Basic Instinct" and "Total Recall".
Favorite actor in a bad movie would have to include both Al Pacino and Christopher Walken in the 2003 disaster that is "Gigli". These two had some funny lines and at least shined a bit but after their one and only scenes respectively, the film continues to fall apart.
For a mediocre flick, I would say 1995's "Tank Girl" by the acting of Lori Petty and Malcolm McDowell because they both owned their roles as the hero and bad guy respectively as I have watched it a couple of times after I caught that on television.
Bringing a throwback to one of your episodes from a few months ago, that is Kenneth Branagh in "Wild Wild West". He seems to know that he was appearing in a crappy movie, yet was probably having the time of his life as the main antagonist and was at least one of the redeeming qualities about that film.
In "Cowboys and Aliens", Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford gave some solid performances and were dependably appealing as ever, giving on the story they were each given for.
Penelope Cruz in the movie musical "Nine". She was one of the best parts in that whole mediocre adaptation, which could be the reason why she earned an Oscar nomination for that.
In the mostly okay "The Lovely Bones" from 2009, Stanley Tucci gave a haunting performance as the serial murderer and really saved that film from being a complete disaster.
I would go with almost the entire cast of "Running with Scissors". Sure the film was a jumbled mess, but Annette Bening, Joseph Cross, Gwyneth Paltrow and Brian Cox among others each did a solid job with their work.
Reign of Fire. I love that movie. So many ways for that film to turn into a SyFy channel disaster but Bale and McConaghey really turn out a great movie!
In 1984's "Supergirl", Helen Slater provided a decent job by the playing title heroine, yet wasn't enough to save the film by falling off the tracks.
Did Zander just commend Lori Petty's acting in Tank Girl? That movie sucked, and SHE was annoying as hell. I wanted to reach into my TV and smother her in my poop.

A movie called Death Sentence, it has a 20% on rotten tomatoes. Kevin Bacon, Garrett Hedlund, and John Goodman saves the otherwise terrible movie. The actors really give some real emotions and believable reactions to the otherwise cardboard cut-out characters, in a typical Steven Segal movie plot line.
